We will honor the overall winners of the 5 km, 10 km  and 21km runs for ladies and gentlemen.

CAN I REGISTER ON RACE DAY?

You can not register on the race day. After all the spots are filled, the registration link will automatically close.

* 5 km run - 100 spots

* 10 km run – 120 spots

* Half Marathon - 80 spots

WHAT DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE, AND HOW DO I PAY THE FEE?

Registration fee:
* 5 km run – 20 GEL

* 10km run - 30 GEL

* Half marathon - 50 GEL

HOW IS MY RUNNING TIME MEASURED?

Each participant's time is measured using an electronic recording system that meets international standards. The participant's race number includes an electronic chip, ensuring individual result tracking. Do not break this, please.

WHERE CAN I STORE MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS?

For the duration of the race you can store your belongings in specially settled location for PotiMarathon. Please attach the sticker that you get with the Bib number on your starter bag . By presenting your Bib number, you get a right to pick up your bag. Please note that only the bag provided to you by the PotiMarathon organizing team can be dropped off at the designated point.The storage is guarded however we have no liability on any of your lost belongings. Organizers recommend leaving valuable or expensive items safely at home or elsewhere.

IS THERE A FINISHER MEDAL?

You will receive a special medal after crossing the finish line.

 

ARE THERE ANY REFRESHMENTS ON THE COURSE?

Refreshment stands: 2.5 km, 5 km (2), 10 km.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE RESULTS BE PUBLISHED?

The results of the race will be published during the race day on our website. You can print your certificate.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM SICK ON RACE DAY?

If you are sick on race day, we recommend refraining from participating. Unfortunately, your number will lose validity. The registration fee will not be refunded.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE LATE?

If you do not pick up your race documents on time, your race number will expire. A refund of the fee is not possible. Please arrive punctually to ensure your participation!

WHERE IS THE EVENT?

The event takes place in the city of Poti. To view the locations, go to the "Route" section.

AT WHAT TIME DOES THE RACE START?

Start time - 09:00 AM

Is there an age limit for participating?

Participation in the event is open only to individuals aged 18 and above (for all three distances).

WHAT IF THE RACE IS POSTPONED OR CANCELLED?

Planning for the PotiMarathon is progressing smoothly, and we are not currently considering postponing or canceling the event. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, there is always a possibility that we may need to cancel. Therefore, for full transparency, we want to inform you in advance that if the event is canceled, the registration fee will be non-refundable. The fee will be fully transferred to our designated beneficiary.

IS IT POSSIBLE/PERMITTED TO EXCHANGE OR GIVE MY SLOT TO ANOTHER PERSON IF I DON'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE ANYMORE?

It is prohibited for others to run with your race number. However, if you do share your Bib number with someone, please note that they will be disqualified if discovered by the organizers. Even if they finish in the top three or win, they will not be eligible to receive any prizes.

Can I change my race distance after registration?

No, you can’t change the distance after registration. You can only purchase a new slot if available.
